My Year Goal. Did I reach it???

When I started to see my weight loss begin I decided to make a 1 year goal. I wanted to be down 60 lbs. I didn't know if I would make it. I had tried to lose weight for 3 years and I did lose 20 lbs in that 3 years but I couldn't seem to lose more than that. So as we all know I tried Hypnotherapy. I had to listen to it longer than I thought I would have to. I listened to the 2nd week for 3 weeks instead of the 1 week. I had to do that with most of the weeks actually. I also had Jonathan do a form of waking hypnosis called NLP. The NLP gave me a total aversion to sugar. I can say a year later it works works works. I haven't had sugar for a year, and I don't plan on having it ever again. I don't miss it at all. My life is so much better for it. My kids don't have it that often and when they do it's not that big of a deal. Some of my kids are starting to not like it. It's going to benefit their lives for the good. Even though I didn't lose all my weight in 7 months like I've seen others do (can you say biggest loser). But I've averaged a little more than 1 lb. a week. I think it's great to do it more slow and steady. It's healthier for one and second I've had time to make my way of eating a life change. I don't look at weight loss as a temporary thing. I can't see myself eating any different as I do now. I've been doing it for so long. It would seem out of the ordinary to eat like I did a year ago. I'm so excited to live my life healthy and lighter.

Some  things I've learned over this year.

  • I don't need to lose weight every day.
  • It's ok to "stall" for a week and a half.
  • My body knows what it's doing so if I treat it right it will treat me right.
  • I'm stronger than I have given myself credit.
  • I love fitting in smaller clothes.
  • I love that my knees don't hurt going up or down stairs.
If you want to try it Jonathan is taking clients to do live sessions. I recommend doing it this way. It can be custom fit to your needs. NLP is magic as well. I believe it helped me reach my goals. He can do it via Skype or FaceTime as well.

Oh yeah I did reach my goal. 60.6 lbs gone gone gone.

only 8.4 to go.

Is it really totally easy?

Yes.............if you are ready. As explained to me you will lose weight with hypnotherapy if you really want to. Not just I'll give it a try and maybe it will work. Do you have something that is blocking you from wanting it enough to do the "work". Are you at "Threshold"? Threshold is :something needs to change, something needs to change now and I'm the one that has to do it. It can't be done for you. It's not a magic pill. Yes all I did was listen to it at night and things started to happen. But I had to "work" through my blocks. I couldn't over analyze the hypnotherapy sessions. When you do that you may be creating blocks within yourself. I couldn't be embarrassed because it's a taboo thing that has a weird stigma attached to it. I couldn't expect to lose weight right away. I had to expect to go backwards for some of it. When you go backwards it's really a time that you have to be honest with yourself as to why you are over weight. There was a time or times in your life that influenced your weight gain, emotional eating, binge eating habits, or food addiction. You have to change your false beliefs and have faith that you are no longer a slave to food and weight. It's really about letting your guard down enough to let change happen.

With the program it's important to listen to it all the way through. You might not see anything happen until you go through the whole thing. You may need to re listen to it (I had to). You may see it help right way. It depends on you. What is blocking you??? Did someone say something to you long ago that created a belief for the negative. Is your eating habits a family thing. Did you have something traumatic happen to you and food is how you cope. Whatever is the cause you can overcome it and be as healthy as you want to be. It's a choice that only you can make.

It's changing from the inside out.

Milestone Reached

There has been that one moment I've been striving for my whole weightloss journey.… the moment I reached the top of my healthy BMI. I did it this morning. I had to get to 154.9 and I'm 154.3. More motivation to reach my ultimate goal. My 1 year mark is December 9th and I'm hoping to be in the 140's.

Update!!!

So I've haven't updated allllll summer and then some. Why is that? Well I wasn't losing weight. Good news is that I wasn't gaining either. When I got married I was 160 lbs. and that's where I stayed all summer. I think my personal threshold for weight was 160. The man I love wanted to marry me at that weight. I was at a super happy place at that weight. I still had plenty of fat to get rid of though. At 160 I was 6 lbs over a healthy BMI. BMI is not the best way to measure healthy weight, but I'll use it to set goals. I couldn't get back into the weight loss mode. I knew I had mental blocks that was stunting my progress. So I did more hypnotherapy to get rid of those blocks. It worked so well. I'm doing great with eating and my mind and emotions are healthy. I'm now losing weight again. This morning I was 156.8. Yay!!!!

Starting weight
Today's 156.8
